Andrew Foster (b. Los Angeles, CA) Somewhere Between Light and Space: Through the manipulation of light, surface, near-defunct-technologies, objects and traditional painting materials, Foster’s process based works vibrate at the edge of articulation and experience. Swimming in and out of focus as if filtered through a black box, inputs and outputs reveal themselves, while the in-between computational systems evade a registrable value system.
